The prefabricated wooden house – a project exclusively built for the workers of Trang Bang, Tay Ninh Industrial Zone – is created with a focus on investment effectiveness, feasibility and energy efficiency. What makes these houses so distinguishable is the spacious terrace area, which takes up a space almost equivalent to the size of the house itself. The humble design consists of only one floor of 31 square meters, suitable for 2 people with basic amenities. The terraces taking up to more than 20 square meters, it is used as a shade and also cultivated as a space for a diverse range of activities for the house owners. In urban planning, it is seen as a common area for dwellers, and at the same time, it delivers a sense of relaxation and reduces density for a crowded residential area within the industrial zone.
